Our Sodas

Line up of soda bottles

Created specifically to be less sugary, our sodas are sweetened with a minimal amount of organic cane sugar and contain no high fructose corn syrup or chemical preservatives. We allow the fruit, flower, root, and herb flavors to shine through. We produce a full range of soda flavours under our own label. We also work with companies and organizations to create custom branded soda products.

Rootbeer label

Root Beer

Our innagural and most distinctive soda pop, the root beer is made from an adapted 1841 recipe. Flavours of sarsaparilla, sassafras, molasses, licorice root, cinnamon and vanilla bean come alive in the deepest most complex root beer you've ever tried. This is the one that started it all. Pop a top off and see why.

Cream soda label

Cream Soda

Simple and elegant, the four ingredients of this classic are water, organic cane sugar, vanilla beans and lemons. This product is great on its own or can be blended with fresh Okanagan fruit juices.

Ginger Ale label

Ginger Ale

Designed to be a dark and spicy take on traditional ginger ale, this recipe uses brown sugar for depth of flavour but the star of the show is the ginger.

Kola label

While drinking this all natural kola, you will taste things you never knew you were supposed to taste in commercial colas. Notes of citrus and spice mixed with real kola nut make this a revelation.

tonic label

Tonic No.1

Made with naturally extracted quinine from Mexican red cinchona bark, this botanical blend is a perfect complement to fine gins everywhere.

fruit soda label

Seasonal Fruit Soda

Working with the abundant locally available fruit, berry and botanical crops, the team at The People’s Craft House create a variety of seasonally available recipes under this label. Some popular flavours so far have been, Cherry-Vanilla, Peach-Basil and Okanagan Merlot Grape. Stay tuned for what we come up with next for this ever changing treat.

tonic label

Elderflower Soda

We combine locally foraged elderflower blossoms with vanilla beans and lemons to make this light, refreshing, truly unique experience.

Lemonade label

Lavender Lemonade

We hand gather the Naramata lavender and add it to a smooth still lemonade to create a finished product that is calming and thirst-quenching

About Us

At The People’s Craft House we are committed to quality using whole natural ingredients to bring back traditional soda making for today’s soda drinkers

Independent Craft Soda is a growing industry. Connoisseurs seek out small batch soda to try all the different creations of soft drink brew-masters.

After spending most of their lives drinking large scale commercial sodas, most people have never experienced the true taste of what those beverages were like before they became cheap, mass produced and artificially flavoured. Using recipes inspired by those original soda and tonic makers of the 1800s, we bring back the art of traditional soda making in our time.

What makes us taste so much better?

Check out our modern interpretation of these classic soda recipes. You have known them for years but you’ve never tasted the real flavours before.

We only use natural ingredients in our formulas. Never anything artificial or chemical – just the good stuff that you can pronounce.

Each of our sodas recipes is developed in our fizzery with care and attention to detail. We respect the integrity of the ingredients and traditional techniques as a mark of distinction and guarantee of quality.

Whether you are enjoying them on their own or mixing them into a cocktail, these traditional recipes are full of complex layers of flavour that will change the way you look at soda pop.
